We had a couple of 'Where's Wally' and 'Look Alikes' books which were sadly falling to bits.
We pulled them apart, picked the best pages, laminated them creating a table activity out of the full page spreads.
We then used the discards to create bookmarks from the Where's Wally books - we are going to also this with the Tin Tin books which are also loved to death.
The kids really love them. I got the idea from someone else but can't remember who but thanks ....

Thank you for that tip - I've been wondering about the guilt of withdrawing the books - all falling apart and tatty round the edges!
