It is not always the students fault and it is important that this is realised and acted upon.Dianne McKenziehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16645542071339864713noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6798440099232048221.post-71893766366728976122015-04-29T20:03:31.940+08:002015-04-29T20:03:31.940+08:00Very thorough and relevant, Dianne. I created it with a specific purpose / workshop in mind and my sharing it wider is just a by product of that.

Dianne McKenziehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16645542071339864713noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6798440099232048221.post-19315871478590094502015-04-15T10:39:39.634+08:002015-04-15T10:39:39.634+08:00Excellent and very nuanced view on plagiarism. I've incorporated this into a post I wrote based on some discussions I've been having on a university level on the same topic:
http://informativeflights.blogspot.ch/2015/04/third-time-requires-post-plagiarism.htmldeschatjeshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14559922937578240784noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6798440099232048221.post-13628452454538337762015-04-15T09:43:57.776+08:002015-04-15T09:43:57.776+08:00Hi Linda,

I have shared it with the staff at school along with the ideas for how it can be used - as an evaluation, diagnostic and best practice resource. By sharing it with staff it may also lead to more opportunities for PD. On plagiarism and Creative Commons. We shall see.

John, Thanks for your comments.
There are a few more concepts in the works - stay tuned !!

Dianne
Dianne McKenziehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16645542071339864713noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6798440099232048221.post-21969269194179253122015-04-15T00:42:00.759+08:002015-04-15T00:42:00.759+08:00Love it, Dianne, well done!
